This Privacy Policy explains how Kurvexa collects, uses, stores and protects information in connection with its software platform. By using Kurvexa, the Institute and its authorized administrators agree to the practices described herein.
Our Role in Data Processing
Kurvexa operates strictly as a Data Processor on behalf of the registered Institute. The Institute acts as the Data Fiduciary (or Data Controller).
The institute decides what data to collect from its students and staff, and Kurvexa provides the software infrastructure to store and process it securely.
Information We Collect
Institute Admin Data
Names, contact numbers, email addresses and billing information of the Admins and authorized staff.
End-User Data (Students/Staff)
Academic records, attendance, fee logs and other details entered by the institute. We do not claim ownership of this data.
Platform Usage Data
Server logs, login timestamps, device types and system usage metrics.
How We Use the Data & Advertising Policy
Core Services
To operate the Kurvexa software, calculate billing and generate pro-rated invoices.
Advertising & Analytics
We may use anonymized, aggregated platform usage data and Institute Admin demographics (e.g. location, institute size) to display relevant third-party advertisements and brand sponsorships on the dashboard.
STRICT PRIVACY GUARANTEE
We will never sell, rent or expose individual End-User Data (Student/Staff personal details, grades or financials) to third-party ad networks, sponsors or marketing agencies. All third-party advertisements are served based on generalized institute metrics, ensuring absolute student privacy.
Data Retention & The 90-Day Deletion Cycle
Active Accounts
We retain your data as long as your institute's subscription is active.
Cancelled/Suspended Accounts
If you submit a cancellation request or stop paying your monthly invoices, your account will be suspended. We will hold your encrypted data safely for a 90-day retention period.
The Right to Erasure
If the account is not reactivated within 90 days, or if the Admin explicitly requests immediate permanent deletion via our support channels, all associated End-User Data and Institute Data will be permanently purged from our databases and backups, in compliance with global data protection regulations.
Institute's Responsibilities
The Institute is solely responsible for obtaining necessary, legally sound consents from students, parents or staff before entering their personal data into Kurvexa, ensuring compliance with their local privacy laws (including the Indian DPDP Act or international equivalents).
For any privacy-related concerns or data deletion requests, please contact Kurvexa at support@kurvexa.com. This policy is subject to change with prior notice to all registered institutes.
